Rachel Kidron, Ph.D.

I am a New York State Licensed Psychologist. I have experience treating individuals with anxiety, depression, adjustment, stress, and relationship related issues.

After years of studying psychology and applying its methods, I strongly believe in the power of psychological insights to help lead a better life. My interventions aimed at promoting clients’ strengths, understanding their blind spots, and overall increasing self-cohesiveness, improving interpersonal relationships and well-being. I utilize therapeutic techniques, psychological education, and new skills acquisition that best fit the client’s needs and goals.

I received my Ph.D. from Tel-Aviv University, where I also completed my master’s and bachelor’s degrees. I moved to the US to pursue my postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.

Upon receiving my Ph.D., I worked for the Psychological Services in Israel where I provided therapy and counseling for families and children. Since I received my license from the State of New York, I have been providing psychotherapy and counseling for adults, teenagers, and couples.

Following my licensure, I completed advanced training in CBT at the Beck Institute. In addition, I am currently receiving advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
